The Governor’s Office of Appalachia (GOA) administers the appropriations and programs which Ohio receives from the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC). The GOA’s directive is to facilitate economic and community development in the 29-county scenic crescent of southern, southeastern and eastern Ohio.
