The Ohio Department of Development and the Governor’s Office of Appalachia, in partnership with Ohio’s four Local Development Districts and the Appalachian Regional Commission, invite you to participate in a two-day Grant Writing Workshop and a one-day non profit Board Development Workshop. Theses workshops will provide a comprehensive overview on grant writing and the development of a board.

Individuals and organizations serving Ohio’s Appalachian Region are encouraged to take advantage of these workshops, particularly those in the Appalachian Regional Commission’s designated distressed counties (Athens, Meigs, Monroe, Morgan, Pike and Vinton Counties).

The workshops are conveniently offered at two regional locations during August 2009. Please see attached brochure for details and registration information.
