Winter 2010 Events
The communities of Appalachia Ohio invite all to join them in celebration of this wonderful time of year.  The events for this holiday season include parades with horse drawn sleighs, windows decked in vintage holiday tradition and spectacular light displays.  Spend time together with family and friends while enjoying the delights each occasion has to offer.
The Appalachian Driving Tours map was produced by the National Geographic Society in partnership with the Appalachian Regional Commission. The map was released as an insert nationwide in the April issue of National Geographic Traveler magazine and a new section on the website www.visitappalachia.com.
Discover Ohio’s Appalachian Country, a truly authentic American experience. Known for its’ natural beauty, unique cultures and regard for the past, this section of Ohio offers visitors a chance to unwind and renew.
