Technology Division

Ohio boasts a long and proud tradition of technological excellence. The Ohio Department of Development's Technology Division is helping to advance that tradition through programs designed to provide a sustainable competitive advantage for technology-based businesses within the state.
Through strategic partnerships among government, industry, and academia, the Technology Division's coordinated programs focus on four goals:
  • Fostering an entrepreneurial climate that accelerates the creation and expansion of high-tech, high-growth businesses in Ohio
  • Ensuring that a complete and effective commercialization infrastructure is in place to capitalize upon major areas of research excellence in Ohio
  • Advancing the global competitive position of manufacturing and technology-based businesses in Ohio
  • Improving the agility and operational efficiency of the Technology Division to better serve customers and maximize technology-related opportunities.
