Scenic Attractions
Hocking Valley Scenic Railway- Athens County, Ohio
The Hocking Valley Scenic Railway is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to the preservation, restoration and operation of historic railroad equipment for the education and entertainment of the general public. The Railway offers 14 and 22 mile round-trip rides, along with a schedule of various special trips throughout the year.

Trolley Tours- Washington County, Ohio
Trolley Tours Inc is a full service receptive agency offering group tour packages including loding, tours and dining reservations. One hour narrated tours as well as Step-On-Guide services are offered. Special interest tours such as Underground Railroad & Local Church Tours are also available.

Valley Gem Stermwheeler- Washington County, Ohio
This authentic sternwheeler is reminiscent of the packets that plied the Muskingum and Ohio Rivers in the 1800’s. Hourly tours are offered along with charter tours available upon request.

Marietta Harbor- Washington County, Ohio
The Marietta Harbor offers boaters overnight docking, fuel, potable water, electric, restrooms and showers, ice, river charts and many more items for your boating enjoyment. A gift shop, pontoon, and bicycle rentals are also available.


Museums
Dairy Barn Southeastern Ohio Cultural Arts Center- Athens County, Ohio
Built in 1914, the Dairy Barn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and features a 6500 square-foot gallery.

Kennedy Museum of Art- Athens County, Ohio
Open since 1996, the Kennedy Museum of Art is located in a renovated, elegant 19th century historic structure on The Ridges, overlooking the city of Athens and Ohio University. The museum presents a wide variety of permanent and changing exhibitions throughout the year.

The Decorative Arts Center of Ohio- Hocking County, Ohio
The Center provides exhibitions, public programs, art classes and workshops for all ages, interdisciplinary programs and curriculum materials for schools, and a focus for research and communication about the decorative arts of Ohio.

The Sherman House- Hocking County, Ohio
This National Landmark containd rooms restored to their original condition, as well as civil war exhibits.

The Georgian Museum- Hocking County, Ohio
Restored to it's original splendor, The Georgian Museum contains furnishings which are authentic to the period, various wood carvings, and a collection of historic dolls.

Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum- Hocking County, Ohio
In addition to a Hall of Fame recognizing contributors to motorcycling, the Museum has three major exhibition halls. Collectible morotcycles, riding gear, photos, literature, sculpture, race-track reconstructions, dioramas, posters, awards, quality casework, graphics and more are used to tell the stories of motorcycling

Baker Glass Museum and Antique Gallery- Noble County, Ohio
This museum contains one of the finest private collections of glassware and antiques in the United States. Over 100,000 pieces from respected glass companies are available for viewing.

The Castle Museum- Washington County, Ohio
With it's octagonal tower, trefoil attic window, and stone capped spires, The Castle is one of the best executed examples of Gothic Revival style architecture in Ohio.

Ohio River Museum- Washington County, Ohio
The Ohio River Museum is the Ohio Historical Society's interpretive center for the history of the river and especially of the steamboats that plied their trade on its waters.

Lee Middleton Original Dolls- Washington County, Ohio
Free tours of the doll factory are offered throughout the week. See how the life-like dolls are created and then visit the newborn nursery to see the new babies.
